Vatukoula Gold Mines' North Island Mt. Kasi Project "First Drill Hole" Officially Commences

2026-07-02

Based on the results of previous geological surveys, trenching works, and follow-up on mineralization-alteration zones, the project has preliminarily designed 16 drill holes with a planned total footage of 6,000 meters. The work will focus on engineering verification of the spatial configuration, continuity, and deep extension characteristics of the Sb-2 and Sb-16 mineralization-alteration zones. This will supplement the fundamental geological data for this section and provide a basis for subsequent target evaluation, resource potential assessment, and further drilling program deployment.

Since the beginning of this year, Vatukoula Gold Mines has prioritized the North Island Mt. Kasi exploration and reserve increase as a key annual objective. The project team has continuously optimized construction organization, improved operational standards, and coordinated preparatory works including road repairs, drill rig mobilization, material support, and safety management, laying a solid foundation for the smooth commencement of drilling. In the next phase, the project will strictly control safety, quality, and progress, steadily advancing drilling operations, core logging, sampling and assaying, and comprehensive geological research, so as to continuously secure the long-term overseas resources.
