Mining:The Vatukoula Gold Mine's hoisting system comprises three vertical shafts and one inclined shaft. The ventilation system utilizes five ventilation shafts, while the drainage system consists of multi-level pumping stations across three main mining areas. Mining employs in-vein development and trackless haulage, with processes including longwall mining, stoping, and caving-backfill methods. Tailings extraction utilizes excavators.
